"Amerika": The video

The "Amerika" video was filmed in the ruins of the former chemical factory in Rüdersdorf near Berlin under the direction of Jörn Heitmann (who also directed the "Ich will" video, among others). Rammstein stood in front of the cameras for two days long, from 5 pm until 5 am. The spacesuits for the moon scenes were on loan from Hollywood and 240 tons of ash was needed to created the moon landscape. Below you can find several snapshots from the video.
